ok. i jinxed it. i was about to type "he's sleeping soundly right now" and he just happened to jerk awake. ):

last sunday when i came over for swimming my brother asked me to buy him a pair of shades.
and guess what! my da sao bought them already...
from GAP. and the good thing is i have a MATCHING pair of shades! (:

my handsome boy is so adorable.
and he loves watching kids' central and go mumbling after the characters speak.

BLOODY tired now. i only had 4hours of sleep.
and it wasn't even a nice peaceful sleep because i had a really bad tummyache and i kept tossing and turning through the night.
feeling cold without the quilt one moment, feeling too warm under the quilt another.

digression:
my da sao's Asus is electrifying me every other second it's ANNOYING.

have been working at the Funan's Courts Roadshow.
JiaXuan surprisingly worked there too! was early on the first day so i was tying my hair in the toilet early in the morning and this ghostly face appeared next to my reflection and scared the wits out of me.
deng deng! shocker. she's working for Vaio too, and what an idiot! she didn't tell me beforehand.
met up with aihui, lihui, raphael and rara (i forgot his chi name).
went Yakun for breakfast with Lucas (without raphael & rara)
slacked there till 1130 (when we were supposed to start work at 10) and the booth hasn't arrived yet, so Alan asked us to continue slacking until he calls me.
went for lunch at KFC at 1230 till 130 before finally setting up our booth for the roadshow.
(good news? we still get our pay for 10-130 =P)

business was bad. really bad. only 3 sales.

6 of us had dinner with Virus (who came down from Sim Lim) at LJS and he brought us to The Loof. (i left early. AGAIN)
the following day was bad too but i can't remember the sales figure. oh, and Mandy & Joel joined us! (:
3rd day, JiaXuan got transferred to Challenger 6thlevel, Rara to MC.2 3rd level and Raphael to MC.2 4th level. ):
but their sales was surprisingly good!

last day, was crazily busy.
but yet the sales was not exactly very good. at least not for me.
after settling our timesheets and sitting outside Courts like a bunch of shagged beggars, (and much contemplating between xuan and me,) we went Cathay Cineleisure and ate at Kobayashi. I think the noodles are giving me the tummyaches now. ):
went Kpool (Virus & Raphael played billard, Aihui, Mandy, Joel & Rara played pool, Jia Xuan, Me & Lihui just sat there and chat. Sorry to Lihui that we left you out during certain topics!)
around 1130, we went Kbox and only left in the wee hours of the morning at 4am.

reached home at 430am and got a lashing from my mum ):
and i woke up at 848 after much uncomfortable toss and turn from the very bad tummyache.

hope this is a beginning of something that will last [my BFF. she knows the meaning.]

anyway, on to sth that came as a shock. no. more like a nice surprise actually.
my BFF's Dip Plus teacher-in-charge called her out of the blue, and started interviewing her, yes, through the phone. she was shaking so badly due to nerves but she still managed to complete the conv [tho frm what she described, she really wasn't at her best]. but that's not the point. the point is, she managed to make such an impression on that particular Mr Ng that he called her! Her email and calls just demonstrates her passion for Dip Plus. and her efforts paid off. it's like getting a new clue in the development of a new strain for GM food [be it rice, potatoes or other fruits, veg, staples that I, frankly speaking, cant list out for you right now. or rather, the list can be far too long]. Although there is still a long way towards the actual harvesting of this particular GM crop [with whatever pros, such as shorter harvesting time, higher yield, higher tolerance level to frost, that ultimately results in an increased food supply. tho most of these may not end up in the hands, or to be exact, mouth and stomach, of those who are in most need of it.] , it is still a step, however small, towards the goal.
and she's doing it. inching her way.

I am so proud of my BFF and her short story[ending not known yet] really inspires me. I feel that this is an example of how we should live our lives. should we stumble through life aimlessly and make this the most unmeaningful walk we have taken or should we make it an exhilarating sprint to the finish line? you make the choice. I just want to tell my BFF: no matter the ending is that of a HK comedy or a Korean-you-just-can't-help-but-weep-soap, you know you have learnt the lesson. one that pulls you back to reality, whether cruelly or leniently. and THIS is the most important thing. right?

I love you too and I'm sorry I am not always available. I will take note tho, and hopefully you'll always find me there to catch, when you jump. cliche. I know.

26th March

I SLACKED MY DAY OFF AND ROT AT HOME.

the teacher-in-charge called.
i was so taken aback and i was shaking all over, i thought i was going to...well, i dont know.
i just thought something was going to happen at the rate that i'm shaking. i couldn't even speak properly, and my mind was blank, and there were alot of silent pauses from my end, and i kept using "really really really".
i don't know if i screwed up but i nearly cried, and i started mumbling a little.
and i was still shaking when i tried to call xiuyi..

i remember something my mum said years ago: 听天由命
if it's yours it's yours.
if it's not, then no point forcing.
i've done my best to salvage the situation.
it's up to the panel to review my case. once the decision is made, it's final.
in due time, i shall just pray hard.
all of you will pray for me too, wont you?

25th March

after wallowing in my own pity, went to meet xiuyi at suntec.
i love me BFF so so so much!
(but she can be rather out of reach at times... not someone who you can reach immediately as and when you like. hmm. reminds me of Leo being described as not "geographically desirable" by Piper..)

24th March

my dear monk left for training at India, New Delhi ):
he'll only be back on 8th Apr.
had breakfast with him at Bugis' BK, went to Sim Lim to buy his earphones, my Norton, shopped around before sending him home to prepare for airport.
Surprised him at the airport because he thought I wasn't sending him off.
i realized my boy is very gullible =P

very mini, it's about the of our palms, which makes it so delectable because you can eat so many flavours and not feel full!

i felt very nervous that night.
and not knowing what to do, i started to miss monk alot, alot.
he is ALWAYS there for me, lending me a listening ear, giving me comfort whenever i feel down, sharing my joys whenever i feel happy.
and there i was, so lost, so lost.
and all i had were polaroids of us.
and the cranes i folded for him for his return.

I'm thankful I have xiuyi though, who has been the one pulling me through this difficult time.

Caught 10,000BC with HeSheng (who has been harping about watching it since it screened)

shopped around at Marina Square before meeting Natalie, and both of us went to meet Wen Bin & Jun Xiang for Spaggedies, but we ended up sitting at Secret Recipe's table, while waiting for a seat at Spaggedies, and the Secret Recipe people gave us the menu so we ended up eating at Secret Recipe.
