Phew!
(-a really BIG HUMONGOUS sigh of relief-) Term 1 Week 1 of Academic Year 2008/2009 is finally OVER.
i have to say, i've NEVER been this tired.
10apr-13apr marks another roadshow that i'll never forget.
Jia Xuan, Audrey, Shun Ya & Xiu Yi (:
it's my first time working with all of them (minus xuan)! (:
and Alan & Lawrence (Sony Vaio full-timers)
and not to forget the eccentric gang of Courts personnels, namely Gabriel, Marcus, Sean, Leon, Vince & Costa.
( and super must not forget!) Emcee, Wayne. (reason being he gave us a lunch treat on the 3rd day, plus some other *SPECIAL* reasons.. -winks-)
it's been very physically taxing, (standing from 10am-10pm EVERYDAY).
also very mentally taxing to as we were all super stressed-out, especially me.
being the most "senior" old-bird, they had very high expectations of me, and lazy Alan just dumped EVERYTHING on me whenever he could. ):
but nevertheless it was fun to work with the girlies and we shared lotsa laughters.
14apr then bench marks the start of Year 2. no more DBA/FT/1B/08.. but DBA/FT/2A/13.
skipped FMA lecture to meet xiuyi at vivocity for some shopping, and also to pass Alan the Warranty Cards for submission to HQ.
(that heartless creature! greeted me by asking me to change & get to work!)
xiuyi left early for tuition lessons, and i continued shopping around until it's time for my Dip. Plus!
Dip. Plus was a bomb. I've never had ice-breaking session like this one. How to ice-break when there's no ice in the first place? But warm fire burning all around. The kinda warmth that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy...
Lecture was awesome too because everything just sounded so intriguing.. Schizophrenia, Depression, Multi-personality Disorder, Eating Disorder etc etc.
I'm so thankful and grateful that I was given a chance to join!
15apr i headed for Orchard with yaya. shopped around at Liat Tower's Zara and she left to meet jiaxuan & fuji while i happily paid for 2tops (: (: (:
went Borders' for Paperchase but no nice notebooks ):
headed for Orchard MRT's popular, bought some stationaries, French Dictionary, met up with Xiuyi, shopped Forever21 & Cotton On & Isetan & we had dinner at Pasta Cafe & went perfume hunting!

16apr i was rather happy that my class started to warm up more. we went SP Guild House after a long hearty breakfast at Mac, & I feel like such a mountain-tortoise because I've never been to the Guild House before!
OMG, it's like a private SP country club! we played the arcade etc to waste time away until it's time for lectures. after lectures was meet up with the DBA08 girls for lunch at KFC (:
yaya, sandra, jiaxuan, audrey & sherilyn.
talked & laughed like crazeeee.
boy, do i miss those girls ):
around 3pm, yaya & i headed for the Guild house for a game of Bishi Bashi which drives you nuts and is a really good game for de-stressing, and then we played pool till 430pm, so that yaya can go and pick Alan (not the Vaio Alan la! her bf Alan!) from the airport.
17apr is the most "torturest" day of the week, because of BLARDY GEMs. had my Psychology & Counselling GEMs from 810-9 (teacher was 10mins late, we started at 815 & ended early at 9 instead of 10) went to my bro's place and rot there with Kynan & Sis-in-law till 115pm and headed for school for 2hour lecture from 2pm-4pm.
being the FORTH consecutive 8am day, i was totally zonked out during UCCD lecture from 2-3. but was highly alert for MR lecture next because the teacher is a serious psychotic case.
went Arab St & Haji lane alone before heading home.

FINALLY! last day of school has come. i was so tired, i thought today was Thursday.
QA lecture 9-10. MR tutorial 1015-1025! (digression. it was scheduled to be 10-12. but because i was hungry, bryan, shi ping, ken, dickson, badriya & lynette accompanied me to buy nuggets from the malay stall. SO PAISEH! plus we were all such lazy bums we'd rather wait for the lifts than climb the stairs, so we were late for class.. and after taking attendance, the teacher made us do introduction of ourselves: name, hobbies, location; and that's it. we can leave! so slacker!!)
so i had brunch with the class before leaving to meet Xiuyi at Bugis at 12.
we went Arab St & Haji Lane & headed back to Bugis..
Carmen: ROAR! I WANT MY BAG & RING & BELT! (totals up to $179.90)
Xiuyi: ROAR! I WANT MY WATCH & BAG! (totals up to $156.90)

perfume hunting was CRAZEEE. absolutely MAD & DERANGED.
