Malacca Trip '06

haha. oops. i realized i hadn't update about my Malacca Trip on Sunday the 10th yet. gee.

well, since i dont know when, my family have been travelling to malacca almost once every year..
SHOPPING of course is the ultimate goal. (:
there was one year.. i dont know if it's 2004 or 2005, we went there with one luggage each.
as in, not suitcase luggage luggage, but those hand-carry luggage luggage.
and we returned back with SIX luggage. pow-wow.
and we spent like a thousand or two ringgit.
but this year's was DISAPPOINTING. and that's an understatement.

there wasnt anything much to buy and the stuffs were like, mediocre and no cheapo bargains that are really good. :(((
Mahkotas Parade is such a disappointment this year.
the only thing to celebrate is their Auntie Anne's is sold at Rm2.90!!! (approx. Sgd $1.30)
love my cinnamon sugar pretzel.
Singapore sells them at Sgd $2.30 larh! whoo. -spins-

anyway, from this trip, all i bought were:
a pair of kitten heels @ Rm19.90
Adobe Illustrator CS2 @ Rm5 (bwahaha. kinda dumb cuz i DONT KNOW how to use it)
essence oil burner + 20 tealights @ Rm10
that's all.
like, how pathetic. :(
as compared to nat, who really went for a much envied shopping spree. hmph.

anyway, the malacca trip was proudly organised by my mum and joined by her Karaoke kakis. hehs. and i became an exploited babysitter. this little brat here stuck to me the moment she saw me! so i was stuck baby sitting her for like... hmm. 16.5 hours. TADA! this sweet little girl i mentioned last time.. grand daughter of my mum's karaoke kaki.

but it's so sweet!!! she even asked me how to spell "picture". hoho.
yarh. overall, that was my Malacca trip.
exhausting and un-fruitful. :(

oh! but Malacca has got a new shopping mall called "Malacca Megamall". i cant remember the malay name though. (funny. what's with the recent trend of big malls?)
anyway, unlike Mahkotas whereby the most expensive brands they have are Bonia, Sembonia, these ulu ulu un-heard of brands, the Megamall contains Mango, Esprit, Quicksilver, Nike, the usual high-end brands. and they also have another half of the mall that is like, Bugis Village.
so the entire Megamall is like a combination of Bugis Junction & Bugis Village.

tada! when we were exploring this new megamall, we saw a fountain there. upon my request! (:
awww. my parents look so sweet & loving (((:
though my pap's attempt to do the Smile + Open eyes BIG + 45dg failed terribly. he didnt even tuck in his chin!!!
