Hundredth Post

TADA!!!
this is proud to say, my grand HUNDREDTH POST!!!
-grins widely-
aye. not bad as i started this blog like, March? aha.. i know i know. i blog less than i used to but hey! i think i'm getting better! lol.

A song i grabbed from monk's blog (click if you all havent visited! haha.)
and it kinda links to what happened yesterday... :(((

Child by Freddie Aguilar:
When you were born into this world
Your mom and dad saw a dream fulfilled
Dream come true
The answer to their prayers
You were to them a special child
Gave 'em joy every time you smiled
Each time you cried
They're at your side to care
Child, you don't know
You'll never know how far they'd go
To give you all their love can give
To see you through and
God it's true
They'd die for you, if they must, to see you here
How many seasons came and went
So many years have now been spent
For time ran fast
And now at last you're strong
Now what has gotten over you
You seem to hate your parents too
Do speak out your mind
Why do you find them wrong
Child you don't know
You'll never know how far they'd go
To give you all their love can give
To see you through and God it's true
They'd die for you, if they must, to see you near
And now your path has gone astray
Child you ain't sure what to do or say You're so alone
No friends are on your side
And child you now break down in tears
Let them drive away your fears
Where must you go
Their arms stay open wide
Child you don't know
You'll never know how far they'd go
To give you all their love can give
To see you through
And God it's true
They'd die for you, if they must, to see you here
Child you don't know
You'll never know how far they'd go
To give you all their love can give
To see you through and God it's true
They'd die for you, if they must, to see you here

---------------------------------------------------------------------

to sum up my day.. it's good. it's GOOD.(like how Jim Carrey does it in Bruce Almighty)
B-E-A-UTIFUL day, although it was raining..
spent the day with my dad since 11 till 5, watching TV and eating our favourite Korean Shin Ramen (((((:
it's good to spend some quality time with your dad, especially all you do nowadays is shop with your mum =X
so after the Star Awards repeat ended (i was in Malacca when it showed last Sun), i met up with my Little Aunt and went shopping with her!!!

Oh, my after-thoughts after watching the Star Awards. Mark Lee's chinese SUCKS. big time. he actually read the name of the award presenter, Tino Bao's name wrongly. It's supposed to be "Bao Xiao Bo" and he read it as "Bao Xiao Bai" and he actually repeated it so many times!!! such a disgrace to Singapore in such "international event", i mean, they are, after all, from overseas..

and he kept doing all the emcee job while Pei Fen was obviously a much better emcee. whenever he forgets names of the artistes, she would react quickly by reading their names. and what kind of stupid questions he asks, like "what are you here for?" den for those who are plainly there for the event would be so embarrassed what, like Zoe Tay, she said she's just here to watch the event, and she's MediaCorp's Ah Jie somemore! so malu larh! stupid question from a stupid emcee. and he keeps saying and doing the wrong things, diction and pronunciation is horrible..

even when he got the award for Top 10, i think he totally does not deserves it cuz he said something like, when he saw he wasn't leadin in the Top 10 for the past few weeks, he asked his brothers from overseas to call and blah. (so obviously he doesn't deserves it cuz it's plain cheating.) i think so many others would have deserved it.

and the Huang Yi Liang is just plain bonkers. and my dad and i both agree that their speeches are all so BLEH with a few occasional good ones, like the newscaster Dong Su Hua's. I think hers was good, professional and classy. If everyone spoke of her standards then the Star Awards would be so much more classy. (of course must minus those crazy ones and really lengthy ones) not like some, no standards award show. pui. they got really BAD plannin for this one.

anyway, shopping at Orchard really perked me up especially after yesterday's episode and the stupid anti-tetanus shot that became so painful i couldn't sleep last night. every toss and turn i make was a horrid painful experience. my arm was practically useless cuz i cant move it above the elbow or the pain would intensify.
now, it's so much better and bearable! and is also a comfort for the $30 consultation fee that never got reimbursed... and also some shopping fee on friday :(

basically, we bought biscuits for the grand-nieces and grand-nephews, who are my nieces and nephews. kinda complicated? hahaha..
and went for dinner!!! at Crystal Jade. wooo.
my aunt was certainly in a spending mood cuz she got her bonus already!
she bought me, for X'mas...
` the same biscuit for me but mine's chocolate coated! last box! haha. special treat! cuz i'm NIECE what, they're GRAND-NIECE and GRAND-NEPHEWS leh. one grade higher! muahaha.
` Dove Amicelli
` a necklace from Accessorize (gee. i'm becoming an Accessorize freak already! cant take my eyes off their pretty accessories...)
` a pair of black patent slip-ons with heels from m)phosis!

isn't it beautiful?!
-beams-
anyway, can someone PUH-LEASE!!!
GET ME THE WHITE ONE SIZE FOUR TOO FROM TAKA'S M)PHOSIS?!?!
pretty pretty please?!
calling for all who owes me a Birthday Present!!!
i was really TORN between both.
and in the end i did those close-eyes-pick-one trick and painfully left the white one behind...
-sobs sobs-
my pocket is really awfully burnt, even worse than the CK Tang's rooftop that you'll see later on in this post...
please please please. this is my earnest plea!
that YOU! and YOU! and YOU out there who owes me a Birthday present!
get yourself down to TAKA and get the heels for me! please! hurry!
cuz m)phosis's footwear sells out so soon.
especially small sizes like mine :(
and i havent seen a pair anywhere in any other m)phosis outlets lately...
so hurry! get mine today! while stocks last!
tsk.
dont bother to give me a surprise just PLEASE TELL ME you're getting that for me i'll die happy.
hahaha.

hmph. my mum just entered the room and say i cant buy anymore things le,cuz i've already bought alot. hmph. NO WAY! =P
not as if she reimburses me. bleh.
oh. and a small little episode when we were about to take the NS-train home.
while headin for the MRT, we saw CK Tangs on fire!!!
well, not the entire building, but the famous green roof top.
yup.

and of course, the brave firemen were there and all, and of course the fire was put out larh.
but you know, being Singaporeans, who were never exposed to such things often, i think there were at least about a few hundreds, with us amongst them, that were watching the "show" from opposite outisde Wisma, near the Orchard Mrt.

this was a photo taken by my uber lousy phone with ZERO megapixels. (hahaha) the circled part was of course, the FIRE!

this was the flame that re-lighted after the fire "extinguished". the fire was obviously not extinguished, and smoke continued drifting...

my aunt called my 2nd Aunt, who's son is having a wedding dinner at Mariott Hotel this coming Fri. and coincidentally, my cousin-in-law to be (aka the bride) was at CK Tangs!!! hahaha. so he was so anxious he went "okay okay, i'll call her!" and hung up. awww.
