high, low, low, high.

monday blues.
tuesday lethargy.
wednesday? no idea.

met up with my beloved nigus on sunday morning for brunch!
at Plaza Singapura's Manhattan Fish Market (:

super coolios Seafood Platter for Two. i think it's yummy! the waitress was flaming the most delicious of the delicious platter -- cheese covered prawns

looks good huh? at $29.90! it says "Seafood Platter for TWO" but i think it was enough to feed the four of us.

i love jia jia's candid shots. GAN JIA.

the happy quartet. (clarissa could only come after her tuition which ends at 1pm, and Christina couldn't make it. *sigh*)

i HEART nigus (:

i'm the only smart one who realized it's time to dodge. chloe is smart too because she can't dodge since she's in the center, so she smiled gracefully. claire is the only dumb one who continued yakking away without realizing what jia was doing.

we wanted to take UNGLAM pictures. i think this was an utter failure but it is definitely comical! haha.

not UNGLAM still. SPASTICATED more like it.

again, introducing Claire, the gong.

and you see now, Claire still REALLY doesn't know how to dodge. she's never shy though a million times bitten.

i really think this is the most (happy) spasticaterestest photo ever, although i can't pinpoint why.

proudly presents to you, the MOSTERESTEST SPASTICATERESTEST PHOTO EVER. ( i don't know what everyone's doing. i can't even figure out what i was doing.)

hear no evil. SMELL no evil. see no evil.

conclusion? GAN JIA JIA IS A UBER LOUSY PHOTOGRAPHER.
but i still love you to bits and pieces, Gan Jia!

cuz you're the cuterestest person i've ever met in my entire life!

"i take the same guy as the bus"
HAHAHAHA. so funny.

but no worries jia, we love you still!

meet up with nigus never ever fails to put a smile in my heart, no matter how tough the day gets going.

and the day was indeed tough.
served this customer who was looking for a new laptop (a guy around his thirty) who was with his wife, elder sister, and parents.
he wanted the TZ17, and then his family wanted him to get the SZ433.
after much contemplating and discussing and two gruelling hours of his indecisiveness, he finally decided to get the TZ17 black.
FINALLY.
he was deciding what else to buy (ms office, norton anti virus...) when the bad news came that Courts has got no ram to upgrade for him! (which is the supposedly free gift from 26-30 sept)
long story to why Courts doesn't have the ram so i shan't elaborate.
and so the Courts guy wanted to give him the MS Office as a trade. but the customer thought the upgrade of ram would be better because the MS Office (Student Edition) doesn't have MS Outlook so he doesn't need it.
and i waved goodbye to my customer.

i was so pissed off i just took off awhile after they left for my break.
that was 4pm. i came for work at like, 130pm after brunch with nigus, i wasn't even hungry.
but i'm thankful i left because i don't know why, tears started welling in my eyes.

updated my passbook. (yay i got my data entry pay!!!)
walked around aimlessly, and got myself a Coffee Bean Chocolate Ice Blended. felt SO SO SO SO SO much better. because retail therapy definitely wouldn't work (no time to try clothes, no clothes to buy too) so chocolate therapy has to work!

after this incident, i have no mood at all to serve any other customers. the courts guy broke his promise to me. he said as long as i could sell it, he would get it for me. damn.
i hate empty promises.
another customer came, this time, a couple.
they headed straight for the CR11.
asked me a couple of questions mainly about weight.

the wife, "so how? i think this is good enough for me."

the husband mumbled, "but it's very heavy." "do you have anything that's lighter and smaller than this and below $2000?"

"nope"

couple went into some discussion.

"i don't care. i'm not going to listen to you already. i'm so sick of it, looking at laptops everywhere. this one too heavy, that one too expensive, this no good that no good. i'm so sick of it. just pay $2000 and get done and over with it! i'm no going to listen to you anymore."

"... ..."

"this is fine what! 2.5kg. how heavy is my dad's?"

"2.7 or 2.9"

"just get this. i don't care, i'm not going to listen to you already."

"i'll take this. in red."

i was still in shock.

"um, this one? in red?"

"yes."

turned around to look at Pearline the Nokia girl in utter disbelieve. she was in shock too and shrugged. so i headed off to tell the Courts guy. and he brought the CR11 red from the store and showed it to her.

and i was praying hard that the deal would be closed soon, and secretly smiling, thinking that Heavens is fair to me. all's not lost.

and guess what i heard?

"i'll consider. thanks."

i think i could have smashed the CR11.

awfully bad day. but oh wells, no biggy. i survived!

and had Monday blues ):

random:my vaio baby. took this after playing pokemon for a night. haha...

had 2 lectures today from 10-12. den took the train with ling ling, who was going for work, and i alighted at City Hall to walk all the way to Funan to hand in the punch card to Alan.
he was there! VERY surprisingly.

and i wonder, are people in IT all that bad-tempered? Alan is one, Alex is another one.
they are two irritating dudes that drives me nuttos.
one moment like this, one moment like that.
i think they're worse than a woman with mood swings. because woman are capricious and temperamental by NATURE. but what can i reason with regards to their behaviour???
i can only think of : they're busy people with alot of things to do and under-nourished with romance (alex hasn't dated for 5years. he's probably forgotten how to treat a lady like a lady already) plus over-stressed with work. so they behave like i'm granted and they're very capricious. don't know what they want.

honestly!

they really make me wonder my gender sometimes.
maybe being in IT sales makes them feel that i'm a fellow species, but NO, i'm a female thanks. and i think i ought to be treated BETTER. no matter how bad looking i am as compared to Karen i'm still a FEMALE being, thanks.

went shopping at Raffles City after handing my punch card to Alan.
OMG. i really need my pay like, soon! haha.

i bought 3pairs of earrings from Accessorize. cost like A BIG FAT NUCLEAR BOMB. avg of $22 per pair? *faints*

headed to River Island next and i really really really felt this desperate need for my pay.
Comex pay! please come faster!
(i will not be counting on Sony. i SO DO NOT TRUST Alan. but i'm banking on Karen's beauty to make him settle our pay asap. hahaha! I so much more prefer Patrick. reasons being:
#1 he doesn't take me for granted.
#2 he is patient and nice
#3 he sends me important sony notices that makes me feel important and acknowledged
#4 he answers my questions patiently
#5 he answers my phone calls greeting me nicely saying "yes carmen?! what's up?" and not "ah, shen me shi?!" curtly.
#6 he's not temperamental)

alright, i don't really mind working under Alan larh, just that he needs to treat me better!!!

back to happier things. (not really that happy too cuz i can only think of them but not OWN them. yet.)

i saw this belt and i absolutely fell in love with it:

it's those big and thick waist belt. SUPER NICE and the S size fits me to a T!
BUT!
it's like, $59 or $69. i can't remember.

and there's 2 other necklaces that i absolutely LOVE too, costing $35 and $59.
and there's this Shades that looks just so cool on me. $45.
like, WHAT THE HELL.
River Island rocks but SO COSTLY!!! money money money~

I WANT NEW CLOTHES TOO. BUT I CAN'T FIND ANY NICE CLOTHES.
anything and everything just looks so COMMON.

online shopping rocks. BUT I CAN'T TRY ON!!! ):

random:
from left to right: my wallet, Sandra's wallet, (middle, all black) Audrey's wallet, (next to it) Jia Xuan's wallet, (bottom, with a big fat lock) Shun Ya's wallet.
yay. ling ling, we're waiting for you to join us! (cuz sherilyn and dydy will NEVER EVER get Guess wallets. haha.)
