busiest day ever
work really just come chasing after me.
took a cab (as usual) to SSDC for my driving lesson. the uncle went by Yio Chu Kang. much much much more expensive lor. it was $7.20! the last last ride was $6 something (via Ang Mo Kio). and then the last ride (Monday) was $5.80! because the nice uncle cut thru NYP so i saved alot of waiting time from a whole stretch of traffic lights!
but i didn't scowl. because i was too busy on the phone with Evy, the whoever person from JMC. (the contact person for comex courts) she was desperate for someone to go to Bukit Timah Courts for some Data Entry because they are having stock taking. and the girl who went yesterday quit.
so after some negotiating, i decided to go after my driving. i'm supposed to reach there at 2pm.
so i had my driving. (FREAKIN PISSED OFF WITH THE STUPID TRAFFIC POLICE PEOPLE. THE SYSTEMS' DOWN SINCE MONDAY AND IT WASN'T REPAIRED YET THIS MORNING.SO I COULDN'T GET MY PDL AND SO I HAD TO DRIVE IN THE CIRCUIT AGAIN! MY INSTRUCTOR WAS VERY NICE, THE SAME INSTRUCTOR FROM MONDAY, AND HE WANTED TO BRING ME OUT BUT WAS STOPPED BY SOME GUY,I DON'T KNOW WHO. RAH. SO I DID SOME OTHER ADVANCE TOPICS AGAIN BUT AM STUCK AT STAGE ONE. I'M SUPPOSED TO DO REVISION FOR STAGE ONE TODAY LA! PROVIDED I HAVE MY PDL...
DEN AFTER LESSON THE TRAFFIC POLICE'S SYSTEM'S BACK!BUT I HAVE NO TIME TO QUEUE FOR IT CUZ MY LESSON ENDED AT 1230 AND I HAVE TO BE AT BUKIT TIMAH COURTS (GOD KNOWS WHERE IS IT) BY 2PM AND THERE'S 14 PEOPLE BEFORE ME, IN QUEUE. SO I FORFEITED IT AND SOLD MY FRIDAY DRIVING SLOT.)
took train from yio chu kang to jurong east and then to clementi. by then it was 135 and i was running late. bought Mcnugget student meal and hopped onto a cab.(cuz my freaking phone went flat and i didn't know how to get there. it went flat because i received so many freaking calls one morning and made so many freaking calls one morning, it was like the busiest morning i've ever had in my entire life. there was only one batt left when i boarded the NS train, den when sherilyn called, low batt. and then the JMC's Evy Felina called, it went flat on her towards the end of the conversation.) reached there at 150. i stood outside the courts looking like a big fat idiot gorging down all the mcnuggets and the fries.
(I SWEAR I HAVE NEVER EVER GORGED ON FOOD LIKE THAT BEFORE. IT WAS REALLY AN ENTIRE MOUTHFUL I WAS FEELING SO HUMILIATED.) roughly finished the food. gathered myself, went into Courts, saw Winston, met Qi Ren, and went to look for Mr.Wong.
he introduced me what i had to do and blah, gave me punch card, took me around on a tour and continued guided me for awhile before leaving me alone, doing my stuffs.
i took down the product codes and quantity for some products, went into the office to key and print out the barcodes and then paste it on the products. basically that's all.
i've to like continue tmr cuz i haven't completed it yet.
the pay is funny. i'm supposed to work 11am-10pm. (11hours)
my pay depends on how long i take breaks.
if i work 8 hours, it's $50. (aka $6.25/hr)
if i work9 hours, it's $60. (aka $6.67/hr)
if i work 10 hours, it's $75. (aka $7.50/hr)
so the max is definitely 10hours cuz even if i work 11hours straight i tink it's still $75.
so today i got $50. hahaha.
and then weekend i got the Funan roadshow with Sony (which i can't wait cuz i'll be working with patrick, alan, alex and virus!!! oh no. where's uncle teh!)

got back results today. my overall GPA's 3.5. which is like the minimum i expected. haha. ok...
