i honestly honestly HATE HATE HATES PW.
not only do i find that it's time-consuming, i'm also annoyed by the fact that everyone is uncooperative. it's not a way to improve your social skills because all you learn is to either A) be hypocritical towards your uncooperative members or B) ruin ur social life entirely by having a show down with uncoopertive group members.
heard so many things from so many different groups the past few days. tuh.
how often do u find a harmonious group lyk jiaxin's? -green with envy-
or maybe i'm just unfortunate to happen to hear all the bad stories from pple around me.
and the thought that i'm suppose to actually sort of give a speech in front of the entire J1 cohort tmr just gives me creeps and makes me feel jittery!bahh.
THANKS ley ying for spontaneously agreeing to go on stage with me! you know, we gals are the bravest sort. the guys dont even have the guts to perform! i'm still having a terribly hard time persuading them and i'm giving this challenging job to the almighty-un-rejectable-wing-yan.
sighs. what's the point, of trying to persuade the current batch to join CO now at this moment larh? argh. and it's only all the aesthetics CCA. why the freaking hell are aesthetic CCAs so pathetic nowadays, in JCs, that we actually need to appeal for members?! like beggars begging for food? like desperados desperate for a fling?

went Ritz Carlton for a buffet dinner, on my second brother's tab! :)

WOW. i think it was my first time actually, at Ritz Carlton.
we stepped into the dining area and my second bro was already there.
ordered our drinks and TADA! attack!
ooh.

Pig Shoulders
Smoked Salmon with Creamy Sauce
Sambal Fish
Fried Soft Shell Crab
Kangaroo Meat
Big Fat Juicy Prawns,
Oysters and
Mussels
Rojak
Sashimi
Sushi
Kebab
Bread
Ice Cream
Chocolates!
Pastries
oh. so heavenly. so posh. so glam. so interesting.
everything was worth a try.
but actually, i expected better of them. as in the variety of food and i expected everything to be mouthwatering, tantalizing and simply simply delicious. but there were only several items that were worth a second visit. (haha. especially the soft shell crab. i think each of us went back an average of two times?) i had expected to return home with an ultra bloated tummy that has to be hidden by my shawl.
sad to say no, it was not up to my expectations, but still, it was a pleasurable and enjoyable time there. we had fun, trying out almost each and every single item there. i honestly tried to!
but of course, i didn't try every single thing. i'd say, 80%?
sheesh.
i'm now craving for better buffet places. suggestions anyone??? (:
