2nd February 2008 - 今天你要嫁给我 (:
woke up early in the morning to style my hair.. although on 1st feb my hairstylist already styled it for me, but after a whole day of shopping and a night of sleep, my hair can certainly suit someone from woodbridge.
watched tv and did my toe-nails at the same time. buffed my fingernails till it fits my fake nails.
bathed. did my base and foundation swiftly before xiuyi came.
and after she came, we started to 手忙脚乱. because i had to do make up for myself and for her too, and her eyes are super difficult.
as the clock ticked towards 430, we frantically started to touch up our loose ends. (of course with my mum around, making it worse because it makes us nervous and we would forget this and that)
finally we're on our way!

and for some unknown reasons i keep having double eyelids, which led to a very whiny bestie who kept wondering aloud (out of jealousy) why my double eyelids suddenly decides to come at such a timely hour. haha!
lugged all the barang barang up to the Shangri-la Hotel Suite at 1908 (:
Brother and maid were both having lunch while my jie was carrying Kynan.
the hotel prepared the bed with rose petals arranged into a heart-shape. awww, so sweet!

he still remains fair and just and unbiased and still loves me as much
my elder brother and i are losing our footing in our mummy's heart!
(not that i can blame kynan cuz he's sooooo adorable! and he's really becoming more and more obedient to my mum! *jealous* )

when we reached the Garden Terrace where the wedding solemnisation and the buffet is going to be held, jie dropped the bomb on bestie and me. she asked us to be the receptionists!
of course we gladly accepted the "offer" but we were both inexperience and later in the day, i got SUPER DUPER FRUSTRATED at Mr. Alvin Cheong because he kept bossing me around and sarcastically complaining i'm not doing my job as the receptionist because everyone's only signing their names in the Guest Book and not writing any well-wishes for the couple.
seriously, we said, "hi, could you please sign your name AND write your well-wishes/blessings here?"
so honestly, if they just want to sign their name and not write anything (typical singaporeans what. and the older generation just simply sign too.) what can we do? take our cutlery out and threaten them to write? he was being so pushy i got so fed up the entire evening i didn't want to talk to him.
and do you know how frustrating it was because i'm suddenly on the "WANTED" list?
everywhere someone's calling for "ah girl", and yes, that is my family's pet name for MOI, your highness here.

they're quite poor thing cuz i tear the petals when i'm angry/bored.

Avril is 10months old, and Kynan just turned 1month yesterday!!
Avril got very excited when she saw Kynan, and kept stretching out for him. she's so adorable! and very super duper chubby! (at the cheeks especially)
later in the night:
some friend of my bro assisted him back to the hotel room.
haha. i've never seen my bro drunk before! and he just collapsed onto the bed. den we asked the maid to remove his shoes and socks.
when my bro returned, Kynan was having his milk.. and soon after, Kynan's drunk too!
i named the picture: The Alcohol-Drunk and the Milk-Drunk
they look super-alike! and all of us just stared in awe how alike they were.
my very drunk brother.
i still love him very much.
we laid Kynan down on the bed for better comparison but he woke up.
xiuyi tried to plant their hands together so we can take a picture with them hand-in-hand but Kynan kept moving so we failed. ):
all in all, i'm very thankful for Bestie (:
Thank You for accepting my invitation, Thank You for coming, Thank You for helping me that day in so many ways, Thank You for listening to me grumble and complain that day, Thank You for sharing my happiness and woes, Thank You for sharing the food with me, it tasted probably 10 times better with you sharing with me (we had to eat at the reception ok! it's so super unglam but we were so hungry and everyone asked us to eat there so we could tend to the Guest Book and receiving guests and most importantly, the Ang Pao box, so we had no choice.)

and for brother, I'm happy for you, because I honestly think Serene jie's the one for you after so many years and so many girlfriends. haha.

after which, i spent the days tidying up and packing my room.
on sunday...
on monday too, but later in the night i went dinner with the girls, and packed my room till 3am!
on tuesday morning too, and then went Far East at 2pm and miss wong xiuyi was late for 30mins! and later in the night i continued packing my room till 130am.
this morning, i'm left with only my dressing table!
but i only wiped the whole thing, i'll have to wait for my dad to spread the cover for my dressing table.

missy nat got a big fat ang pao from her boss so there, free mochi dessert with much thanks to missy nat. (:

haha. Claire's very disgusted she's facing the view and there, see the UOB sign? it's her office! very unappetising for claire but nevertheless, she still ate ALOT ALOT.

it's kinda squashed but nevertheless nice and yummy! (:
ok ok, i gotta go. i just received phonecall from my dear brother that my mum forgot her PRAWNS so i've gotta run errand to cab down to leedon to send her the PRAWNS else my bro has no PRAWNS to eat today. (which is not good cuz it means he's not going to be happy for the new year, and no i can't let that happen because he's my financial backup. =P )
