what have i been up to?

since Twilight, i've been busy with setting up lovedaime.livejournal.com to sell pre-loved items owned by me & the 08 girls.
For three days!
you can't imagine the work behind it until you do it.
it's scary. photoshopping till shunya & i nearly died.
last saturday was spent swimming with kynan and my parents and looking for jobs desperately and falling asleep from exhaustion. steamboat dinner at my rich cousin's place. (:
wah super good man loved the soup.

sunday was dinner with nigus!
it is indeed, a day to commemorate because i think, it's the FIRST TIME since graduation from DHS, that all 6 of us are gathered together.

wednesday was desperate housewives day.

thursday! highlight of the week (:
supposed to have con b meeting at 1230pm but i gave it a miss because it is BFF day!
(and it is very impt to dedicate this day to BFF because she is damn busy and no other days free and we haven met up in months, yup, so there.)
but BFF received notice saying she got accepted to UNSW(med) the night before, so she had to meet her mum at 2pm to book air tickets.

and it was alright because i have an interview scheduled at 1030am so i could waste some time away shopping while waiting for her.

i met up with clinton after my interview and his con b meeting. (note: we are NOT in the same con b grp.)
i was supposed to meet him at starbucks.
i thought his grp has left but boy, i was wrong.
and he had to be all secretive about meeting me, telling them he's meeting his friend instead of, "oh i'm meeting carmen later".
so we're like DOOMED can u see.

those who dont know the story would be:
carmen missed con b meeting to go meet clinton.

(ang mohs are like super friendly! and the pro photog surprisingly was very approachable and thanked us for giving him a chance to try this other branch of camera he has never tried before)

I was rather surprised that melly baby wanted to watch a movie at Lido given our last encounter there. (Burn After Reading. lousy movie lousy uncomfortable seats. blardy cold cinema.)

I thought she'd choose Cine (or probably not because it's infested with BIRDS) or Grand Cathay. But I presumed she chose it because it's the nearest.
When we crossed over to Lido, I was staring at the screen showing the movie timeslots. The movies' timings were all 9pm or 9pm+.

"See? I told you movies are always 7+ or 9+ lor. There's no movie that's 8+ one luh!"

-busy texting, ignores me.-

Continues staring at the flickering screen.

"How come the screen's not changing? There's only like Bolt, Bolt 3D, Sex Drive & Quarantine?!"

"How? How come so few movies only? Eee, I dont want to watch these. How?"

"Actually, we're watching Twilight today."

I scoffed. "Yeah right."

"Really! We're watching Twilight today."

"It's not even showing. It's only launching on the 18th what."

"I'm SERIOUS. We're really watching Twilight."

(half of me wanted to believe her, but half of me thought i would look super stupid if i believed her and then her story turns out to be bluffing bullocks. it would give her license to mock me for like, probably the rest of my life. and since she's always so full of nonsense i thought it'd be more logical to NOT believe her. also because she didn't look exasperated or anything but all smiley like she's enjoying every minute of it.)

And she magically produces a slightly crushed black envelope with "Twilight" printed on its bottom right hand corner (i think) in its signature font. And takes out the invitation with two tickets in it and shoved it at me.

"How'd you get it?"

"My aunt gave it to me. It's the premiere tonight.. 830pm. haha! So, where's my kiss!"

"No wonder you kept on insisting that there is SURE going to be a movie that's 8+... You want on the lips or on the cheeks? HAHAHA."

"WAH. On the lips somemore!"

monday - i missed FM paper because i overslept abit (i could've made it if i cabbed down but i contemplated damn long and decided to take MC heh. cuz i'm rather ill-prepared for it. lucky cuz i heard it's bloody tough i think i'd have flunk it.)
i'm like the official MC-make-up-queen. when ppl sick / wanna skip test they come & ask me that module got make-up or not omg!

(and i'm damn annoyed now ppl are all calling me "CARRR-MEN!" in the stupid indian accent omg i hate it. why cant they call me in like some sexy French accent? WHY INDIAN ACCENT? Ramanan i hate you luh the spark of this "CARRR-MEN" nonsense. whole school of business is calling me that EEKS!)

tuesday - BLAW paper is like OMG i totally screwed up the "enforcement proceedings" nonsense it's supposed to be like garnishing, seizure etc and i got like tricked and wrote about arbitration & litigation. SHOOT!
lunched with shunya, sandra, yanling & sherilyn before heading home to study.
i didnt study much luh. cuz it's tuesday = little nyonya, CSI, Criminal Minds, Sleep.

wednesday - PSCM paper was not bad i guess. cuz it's like 40MCQs.
went town with shunya after that because the paper ended at like 930am. (i finished at 9am and waited for shunya till 930)
we had breakfast at Far East's Subway. shopped around Far East (damn super early no shops opened zzz)
Wheelock next for Paperchase. Tangs next for Benefit. Heeren next for NUM. Starbucks. back to Far East to bus home. Serangoon Central's Singpost for our online spree loot. Went to my salon because shunya recently got an atrocious haircut. she wants my hairstylist to rescue it for her but my hair stylist weren't there. she tried another salon & i waited like damn patiently for her can.
back to my place at 7pm (omg). friendster-ed. dinner-ed. teevee-ed. she went home at 10pm after little nyonya (best!).
so there goes our studying.

thursday - luckily FEB paper's 430pm-530pm. so i still had ample time to study. distracted nevertheless. 40MCQ & 2 structured OMG the structured was KILLA!

today - i just got back home i'm going to bed soon already. (aft i pen down the experience haha ya la ya la THANKS DARRYL SLUTTY BAO)
studied in school 8am - 10am. HRM paper 10am-11am. rot in foodcourt with Clinton, Darryl, Dickson, Bryan & Kellin until it's time for the Dubai ITP talk. (the talk was a total waste of time nothing constructive was revealed everything's still "being worked out" nothing is confirmed -.- there were 25 of us and only 5 would be chosen. WTH.)

it's worst than mission impossible.
clinton & i were like some military officer supervising him.
i borrowed 10music CDs & 3 DvDs. (there's supposed to be 10more CDs but Darryl's admin card cannot scan DANG!)

when Darryl went for his FMAH paper, Clinton & I went to my brother's office at Commonwealth Car Mall so i could drop off the DvDs & CDs and let my father pick them up after work.
Delfi Orchard thereafter for payment of Clinton's Jap lessons. (we were both broke after that.)
and we walked from Delfi Orchard all the way to Plaza Singapura to meet Darryl! only detouring at Isetan Scotts to check out agnés b. (omg i've never walked this far in Orchard before. NEVER!) and we continued to Grand Cathay.
it was still early for the movie so we walked around before buying Quick Bite & sneaking into the cinema.

Quarantine

ohmybloodyhell.
it was so eggciting.
darryl & i got super talkative and the angmoh sitting next to me asked us to "keep it down".
(sigh. why the angmohs all like that? he's not that bad la. the one xiuyi & i met at GV PS during made of honour was worst.)
and when the excitement started... omg.
i totally lost my appetite and put my Quick Bite bento away (waste money sia)
den i pulled Darryl's tee until it nearly went out of shape.
so i grabbed his thumb instead, until my grip was so tight that his thumb nearly dropped off and my ring finger hurt.
after that i borrowed Clinton's jacket and curled up in my seat.
eyes shut & fingers in my ears.
and i was so tensed that i didnt realized my toes curled till they hurt. and when i realized, i relaxed and omg my toes went cramp!
later in the movie i screamed my lungs out about 5-6 times.
and covered my face with Clinton's jacket and peering at the screen with my head totally buried in Darryl's shoulder LOL!
i couldnt breathe and i was so tensed up that after the movie my whole body ached.
i had to take deep breaths when the movie ended to fill my lungs with air and calm my shaky self down.
after the movie, we went to pee and then to ATM.
i was still freaked out and very jumpy while queuing for the ATM.
annoying Darryl "attacked" me like the zombies in the movie out of the blue and i screamed and the entire atrium turned to look.

heart raced like mad.
for the first time i wasn't bothered by the embarrassment because i was too freaked out.

KBOX soon please no more horrors for me, Darryl Kok - unless u dont mind ur tee shirts out of shaped or broken fingers.

it's like Ouijia board with nigus after prelims or something.
instead of de-stressing it stressed me even more.
but i'm quite proud of myself i watched like 90% of it.
